Markus Giles has been a barber and community advocate in the city of Alexandria for the past 30 years. Throughout his years of working in the city of Alexandria Markus has supported the community through his financial support and mentorship of the young men that have sat in his barber chair throughout the years. Markus has supported such efforts as coat drives for neighborhood kids, food drives for local churches, and has supported after school programs in TC Williams High School that helps young teens work on their self esteem and realize their self worth. Markus is also a successful entrepreneur who owns and operates a barbershop and runs a successful investment group that continues in the community he serves in.
Mario Ashby is an IT professional who has dedicated most of his career to supporting community efforts in the Alexandria City community. Mario has supported the youth of the Alexandria community through literacy programs held at the Jefferson Houston elementary library; family engagement art night, and mentoring sessions geared toward fathers. Mario, who is a licensed ordained Minister under the Mt. Calvary Holy Churches of America continues to minister to men and women in his local community.
Carlton Miller is a successful real estate agent and salesman who has been active serving in his local church community. Carlton's passion for helping the youth led him to start and successfully operate a weekly youth bible study where he works with the youth and discusses topics with them like self esteem, business ownership, and embracing their faith. Carlton's ministry also allows him to spend his spare time helping first time home buyers successfully navigate the home buying process.
